My more the than 11 years experience posting on social media, and my side blogging, I find some results here it is:
Social Media
- When posting on social media, your friends/followers have more influence on your writing.
- You cannot express yourself on social media (for me), I see it nonsense.
- Your post cannot challenge the status quo, so no matter how much you are rebbel, you will be influenced.
- There will be an influence of your expected reaction from your friends/followers, so you are trying hard on what you cannot explain.
Blogging
- Blogging is like real writing, you are just expressing your thoughts without thinking about your readers.
- Blogging adobts freedom, you have no worries about your mess, just you are like painting.
- It gives you the courage to say whatever you want, it feels like you have some privacy and nobody is watching you.
- I'm feeling like am I about to become a writer, a journalist, a novelist. Writing become bursting out of me as Bukowski said.
So, if you are feeling limited on social media. Try to blog and don't share it with much bigger audience, do your scetching here, it will help you to like writing.
