Tech leads majority.
We live in the future. Everything get hacked. Currency is bitcoin and it is validated by people. Why not politics?
As I traveled from Garoe to Galkio, two teenagers were sitting beside me. The one who was next to me () was so consumed to his phone. He was a geek. Once he was on music, actually he was listening to Inda Club by 50Cent. Once he was checking fhe map and looking where we are and how much are close to our destination.
On the other hand, people in Puntland, Somalia use mobile money only, after the Somali shilling lost it is value completely. This came after the goverment of Puntland made a terrible mistake and come up with 100% taxation plan on imports. This decision sent a signal to people that government discredited the Somali shillings.
Now, it is seems that we have a huge potential to indulge ourselves fully to technology on political process.
After the dispute of State Federal Members of Somali to the election process suggested by Pres. Farmajo, I suggested a plan on how can we solve this issue.
I got another idea. This time, I'm suggesting a virtual platform that people will register on and we create a virtual country, an ideal one and then we create a political parties that compete on who will lead the country. I cannot bring here all the details needed, but I'm sure it will be better than anything else that you can imagine, and people will have powerful influence on the system.
The goal is to simplify a lot of issues that being made complicated including politics, justice, election, and rebuilding the country. Maybe this platform my create a demand of good governance and a way to push institutions to serve better and it my lead into shifting the country to this platform and it my be the only reliable way out.
The future is completely unpredictable and this is a try.
